Sharon Walter – Compliance & Probation Liaison Officer
Sharon also serves as our Compliance & Probation Liaison Officer, where she plays a key role in maintaining regulatory standards and strengthening multi-agency collaboration across our services.
In this capacity, Sharon works closely with Probation Services, ensuring clear communication, timely information sharing, and effective coordination for individuals under supervision. She supports the management of risk by ensuring that all relevant conditions, safeguarding measures, and placement requirements are fully understood and adhered to.
Sharon is responsible for monitoring compliance across placements, ensuring that documentation, reporting, and operational practices align with CQC expectations, local authority standards, and internal policies. She conducts regular checks and supports audits to ensure continuous improvement and accountability.
Her role also involves liaising with external professionals including probation officers, social workers, and mental health teams, helping to facilitate a joined-up approach to care and risk management.
Through her proactive approach and strong professional relationships, Sharon ensures that Ikija Care maintains high standards of compliance while delivering safe, well-coordinated support to all service users.
